Whitening
Wicked White Products
Is it safe?
Yes. Extensive research and clinical studies indicate that if teeth and gums are normal and healthy there are no adverse effects to cosmetic whitening teeth under the supervision of a dental professional. In fact, many dentists consider whitening the safest cosmetic dental procedure available. Wicked White ingredients are 100% pure with no fillers or additives. Only the finest ingredients are used. (kosher USP glycerine, no animal by-products). Tooth whitening will not change or damage the structure of the teeth they simply make them whiter and brighter.
Who can whiten their teeth?
Almost anyone. However, treatment may not be as effective for some as it is for others. Your dental professional can determine if you are a suitable candidate with a thorough oral exam, including a shade assessment. Tooth whitening treatment in general will not change or damage the structure of the teeth they simply make them whiter and brighter. Wicked White, as with any tooth whitening product is not recommended for children under 16 years of age and pregnant or lactating women.
Are there any
side effects?
Sensitivity during the treatment may occur with some patients. On rare occasions, minor tingling sensations are experienced immediately after the procedure, but always dissipate. Wicked White does not dehydrate the teeth and works with the oral fluids, thus minimizing sensitivity. Wicked White is a great product for those who regularly experience tooth sensitivity, as little or no sensitivity is generally reported and existing sensitivity has not been noted to increase.
How long
does it last?
By following some simple post whitening care instructions, your teeth will always be lighter than they were before. To keep your teeth looking their best, we recommend flossing, brushing twice daily, and occasional in office refresher sessions with Wicked White. The Wicked White extender pen is also designed specifically to keep your teeth their brightest. They are now available through purchase online or through your dental professional.

About Dental Hygiene Practices
In 2012 the minister of Health implemented a new level of recognition for dental hygienists with extra training equivalent to the dental hygiene degree program. This newest group of Dental Hygiene Providers are qualified as Primary Care Providers. Allowing them to open their own practice and treat the public without the restrictions of a dentist examination.
This opens the door for individuals that may not normally get to a dental office for a variety of reasons: fear/anxiety, chronic illness, mobility issues, costs, etc.
